I love Beegie’s interpretation of the Christmas Classics. Great to listen to when wrapping Holiday presents or just to relax with a hot drink. Have put her on my Wishlist for most of her CDs

I love anything by Beegie Adair, but Quiet Christmas is a must-have. This is a departure from the lively stylings of her trio – nothing but elegant and soothing piano. She continues to amaze!

Beegie Adair’s CD with quiet Christmas piano is just lovely. It is now my second favorite Christmas CD after her Jazz Piano Christmas.

I picked two Christmas CDs this year, just from the little snippets one can hear on the internet. It’s 50/50. This was the good one. 🙂 I would recommend this recording to anyone. You can see the names of the songs, so I am vouching for the mood and tone. Quiet is a subjective term; I would just say all the songs are handled with love.

I was not familiar with this artist (not that knowlegeable), but apparently Ms. Adair plays with a trio. You can almost hear the soloist depart the trio as the album progresses. I will look for other recordings, surely.

I really like the selections. I think my Mom, who made Christmas special for eveyone (she was a “Jeannette”, one who discovered many pianists and was unhappy when Mr. Cole started singing :)) would have loved this album.

Ms. Adair has just the most exquisite touch. I guess this is a Steinway, but I wish I could give her a Bechstein for Christmas in very partial recompense.
